There should be a leader if you can figure out which one leads you work on getting friendly with that one he/she will set the dynamic the rest will follow i always pick up my goose and carry him and the rest will follow me anywhere as long as i have the "boss" in my arms

It takes a lot of time and patience with geese but once you win their trust you got it.

They are actually coming around! They all ate from my hand today and two of them ran up to greet me. I have to pick them up to put them in their pen at night, and it is getting easier now. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks. I think the biggest one is the boss and hes the one that actually turned friendly first. I wonder if he is a male. I'm new to goslings this year but ALL the males I know are males are the friendliest ones. Maybe that's not true. But 3 of them are still petite, one is a little bigger and he is by far the biggest. I know you can't tell gender but, it makes me curious to see. I haven't tried again to have them follow me around the yard yet again after that first diaster of thinking I would NEVER catch them! HAHA
