If it continues, surgery may be the only option.

Oh, ok. Thanks. So, perosis or slipped tendon can be fixed if it´s caught early enough, otherwise surgery? Does that mean amputate, or do a little op like they do on little dogs?Slipped tendon.

OK, so this is really interesting, as usually it is niacin deficiency, because they´re soon back on their feet after having it. So, how can you tell the difference at first? And how can it be fixed early? I assume by trying to work the tendon back in, and increasing manganese and choline?Sometimes it can be fixed early, unfortunately most people think it is only a niacin deficiency early on, and wait too long for a full treatment. The surgery we did on the black swans was to put them out, open the joint, clean the scar tissue from the condyles, realign the tendon, a couple of stitches (this was years age, now I would probably use a bio tape that dissolves), stitch the incision, and splint.
