Nighttime is a big problem though because they can't bury themselves! I see them panting throughout the night despite misters and fans. The temps are still over 90 at night.

Are the perches open in all four sides? (Protected by wire of course?

Yes, no cover except for hardware cloth. I took off the shade cloth because I found it was keeping the heat in.
