I wonder if some of the problems with the new system are a result of user error. Initially at our TSC there were issues with inadequate heat for chicks. (I've seen the same issues in the old bins. Again user error.) That has been adjusted and the biggest issues I note are problems observing the chicks and ODOR.

The TSC close to our house takes good care of the chicks, they have them in huge live stock watering bins with wood chips and feed and clean them . I guess the manager at our store didn't like the new racks they had them in and went back to the watering troughs . I always keep a close and friendly relationship with the manager at every store I shop even the grocery store ! It always helps when I have a problem with something that goes wrong or I don't like ! such as spoiled hamburger , purple ham , and rotten grapes .
