Does anyone know what breeds are typically offered, or when they may be available in Ohio?

TSC here said April 3rd for chicks.

Last year they had RIR, EE and assorted bantams.

My TSC got chicks this week (in KY) and they got some golden comets, white rocks, and something else..black sex links? They also got pekin ducks and mallards. They said you have to buy ducks in groups of four and chicks in groups of six, which is no good for me....

Stopped by today in S.C. They had Black Sex Link, White and Brown Legh. Pullets 2.49 each. They also had a straight run container of RIR.

I have made many deliverys to farm stores already this season for Townline Hatchery.

You should call your local store--I called 3 of them around here, and they were each a bit different. They were all getting chicks the week of 4/5, but one said that they only got straight run, one said that they got mostly RIRs, and one said that they sometimes had sexed birds, and they got an assortment, no idea what kinds. Last year, I know one TSC wasn't doing chicks at all--so it's best to check with them and see.
