I went to the auction in Fairfield earlier in the winter, and to tell you the truth, I was not impressed with the outfit. I went with a friend who was trying to decide if she wanted to bring pigs and cows there. We stayed through that and then came the birds. There were boxes piled up about 6 high and packed solid all around the small space provided. Once they started opening the boxes to sell the contents there were alot of weak and dead birds. They could not get any air to breath because they were packed in the space to tightly as to not allow the air to reach them. I vowed then I would not bring birds to that auction. They were bringing for the most part only 50 cents so for that I will save the gas and give them to people who feed their dogs or will eat them themselves. I feel it is more humane to do this. I can always find people to take them. This is just my opinion.
