We are setting eggs Friday... We'll round out our numbers with them!

Has anyone used Sauder eggs from TJ? I plan on putting two in when I start my hatch next week. When you buy store bought eggs, how long do you let them sit out before you set them?

The air cells were very good so they did not sit. They went into the incubator as soon as they were at room temperature.

Sitting is to help the air cells recover from shipping damage. It the air cells are good, it is not necessary and can hurt the hatch. Then turning starts right away too.

Thanks for the input. I was curious as to how long they needed to sit at room temperature? I work so I was going to buy some on my way home from work, let them sit overnight, and pop some in the morning. Is this enough time?

Overnight is plenty of time.

A CROCK POT! I've never heard of a crock pot incubator before but I'm interested now. Did you modify the electrical parts or are you just using a low or "warm" setting on the crock pot ?
