Tragedy related to nutrition?

If you are near Asheville, you can buy Countryside Organics, which has fish meal in it, at EagleDove Garden, Swannanoa River Road, between Lowes and Biltmore Village. Double G Ranch in Leicester also sells it. Here is the contact info for both

Thankyou so much for the info. I'll be putting Eagledove on my list to stop by next time I'm in Asheville.

Our local feedstore chain here is called Zamzows, and they are known for high quality feed and pet-food.

I've been raising my chickens on their stuff, and they're sleek and happy girls. For extra calcium, I feed their shells back to them (silly things think it's a treat).

I use Layena. I don't want the soy, or corn as first ingredients. And oyster shell free choice in a bowl, and lots of leftovers, and free range.
My neighbor was feeding only SCRATCH for the past year, needless to say, a chicken broke her leg below the knee. She now lives with me. I had told him many times about feed, and the numnut at the feedstore told him feed is really bad for his rooster! (12 hens!)

Well you have no idea what the first ingredient in Purina Layena is unfortunately.

Nobody eats soybeans raw... and lives to talk about it. The stuff we feed our chickens is heated to kill the inhibitors.

Chinese eat their soy fermented, big difference.
