Tragedy related to nutrition?

Hey, I collect labels too!!! I tried all those others, Southern State was a no, Nutrena was okay, Purina - they seem to do best on. I just hope that Purina isn't covering up the corn and soy under "grain by products".

Thats cool. So does that mean they may have different delivery locations so you can get together with other people and save on shipping?

I think that's what it is. I know in NY we had one for up state hay, it was the 10 of us women on LI. Worked out well.

It's made by Purina to TSC's specs, but not exactly the same product. If you compare the tags, the ingredients and nutrition levels differ.

I've never bought Dumor, but, who's label is better?

There is a delete button on your post.

HOWEVER, if you delete, since you are the OP, it will delete the whole thread.

They are a great company with great products. When we switched from grower to layer, our chickens were not eating the peas. (the layer has a bigger piece of pea) It drove me nuts to see all those expensive peas on the ground. I wrote them and they replied very quickly that sometimes hens don't eat the peas and that they were investigating a pellet instead of the loose meal. A couple of weeks later, our hens started laying, and now there is not a pea to be found. In fact, they usually get them first.

I continue to be amazed at how the birds will eat what they need to eat. (Why can't I???

I just wanted to let you know I had the exact same experience. When I switched from grower to layer (with the large peas) they turned their beaks up at the peas... now that they are laying, they eat the peas first I think. None are left with the dredges at the bottom at the end of the day!

It has actual peas in it?
