Hello all,

I have seen a few people on this forum using trailer jacks with wheelbarrow wheels at the midpoint of the weight of their mobile coops, for ease of movement.

Do those of you using a system like this have any trouble with the wheel being on a swivel on the stand? I could see how that could be easier to move sometimes, but more difficult if it turns perpendicular to the direction the coop is moving.

Thank you,

We tried it, and your hypothesis is correct, hence we aborted the plan.

Not a good idea I think. I concentrated on being able to move, rather than being able to turn. Turning is done by lifting one end, which is not difficult and rarely needed.
