Train your rooster by playing kickball with him

I'll have to try soccer ball in my Bachelor Pad. That'll give my hawks something to watch.

Here is a couple of pictures I found of young Max and a few of his lady friends waiting to be let out to pasture. The other pic I just took and you can see the kickball down to the right along the t-post fence, I'll have to go get it off the fence for him. The deer feeder you see to the left is actually the outside chicken feeder, it holds 150# of feed and I can set the feed times on it however I want. You can also see a few of our hives in the background. The chickens are staying warm and out of the wind today, so most are in the coop. If I were a hen I'd be pretending to lay eggs all day today just so I could have my own warm box.

I might get my boy a ball, he needs something else to do besides eating and if it'll help up his rooster game I'm all for it.

Doubtful, but I have seen where people have apparently trained them to host talk shows, so, there's always that option.

I think it's a great idea since he enjoys it so much. Gets to wear himself out without attacking people or being overly aggressive with hens. Certainly does build his skills.

The thermometer read -2 this morning, for a moment I thought it was broke. I make mention of this because I don't know if anything will bounce in -2 temps, at least not by my hand anyway. I'll record some video on a warmer day.
