also just routine will be the key to training them. if you get them to trust and love you enough theyll always want to be with you. mine jump into my arms when i go get them. and when your like that. when you can call them and they com and they will stay on your lap then you can teach them new things. just take alot of time paitence and plenty treats
mine are not even the type to run. they chase everyone all the time and foxes and stuff. so unlike people here who have to chase thier ducks around to catch them mine come even when i dont want them too. i take them to the park to play and they just stay right next to me and dont go anywhere. but the downside to that is that they bite me hard. i think its a dominance thing but it bloody hurts really bad and i shout at them and just say no and push thier heads away of lightly slap thier beak.
mine eat bread out of my hands but im still worried they will attach on to someone else! i mean they are only 1 week old and all...... they just went swimming and everytime i put my hand in the water they come over when they want out and jump in my hands and have me lift them up! Quackers sat on my leg for awhile and when i went to put him back in the water he would peep and when i set him back down by me, he would be quiet! so i guess they like me better now!
