My ducks go in their house, super easy. When it gets dark they go in on their own. They are in a pen during the day when I'm at work then free range when I get home. The first week they were outside I had to heard them into the house at night, but now, they are "in bed" around 8:30ish (around dark). But I agree with terrielacy, my ducks LOVE their routine. Everyday is the same with them. Once you get a routine, things are must easier. I think.
