Transitioning from roofed to roofless run

How does your netting hold up in the snow? We had our first minor snowfall and I’m already concerned about the weight. Luckily it is supposed to be in the 60s this weekend and we plan to put up our canopy.
Regardless of how it holds up in snow, I wouldn't trust aviary netting because it's not predator-proof. The mesh I got isn't 100% either, with its 2x3 holes, but at least it will stop the worst - raccoons and foxes. Aviary netting won't.

Back where they belong!

I took a three layer approach, so I’m feeling pretty good about my predator proofing. I now just need to combat the snow.

It’s awesome. My daytime predators are hawks and eagles. At night I lock my birds up in the coop like most and don’t worry about the fox and raccoon.

In terms of snow - awesome. I recommend getting the 2” squares instead of 1”. The snow falls through and also half the leaves do too.
