It's 46 degrees outside and the drizzle is minimal. The area under the umbrellas is quite dry. And yet, this is what the chickens have to say to that:

The spoiled brats miss their roof. Oh well, they'll have to get used to a little wetness. Or figure out where the safe zone is and stay under there.

Just catching up and I’m glad everything turned out ok. Those umbrellas look like they were meant to be there.

We already mounted her on a piece of wood to fit on the fence post and be sturdy and look like she belongs there! Going to attach Thanksgiving day and will post photos here. (We also have a Christmas photo gallery on our website of our 18thc. home every year. It is our 13th! It's going to be uploaded on Thanksgiving as well. I will include a link when I put up lighted hen, just in case you'd like to visit and see it~)
Can't wait to see Mr. Roo and your hens again!
