Trouble is....what happens when should you catch a skunk? You won't be able to approach the trap without it spraying!

When you trap a skunk, I would stand a little way away from it and shoot it through the trap. Skunk spray is hard to get out!

You’ve posted this thread in the Emergencies forum.
There is a Predators and Pests forum where your post would be more appropriate.
May I suggest you create another post in that forum?
That way the board traffic in the emergency forum can be reserved for those that have emergencies with their birds.

I did notice it odd to have a trapping thread on an emergency/disease spot for chickens. No offense, @Roo5.

I guess we could also look at it as a welcome break from sick and injured birds!
The trapping experts are definitely over on the Predators forum.

A cage trap might work! Bait it with something you know the fox can't resist.
