Trashy dogs!

Lost my Silkie rooster and a chick to a neighbor's dog. I checked my state laws and found out that I could legally destroy any dog that is harassing or killing any livestock on my property. Notified the owner that this is the case and fully intend to exercise my rights under the law. She is not happy, but oh well. When you pay over $50 each for breeding stock and pay for feed and housing for them, it is heartbreaking to have an irresponsible dog owner harbor livestock killers.

My neighborhood used to have dog problems... Before a number of folks got free ranging poultry. At least one of the poultry keepers will not hesitate to shoot. TBH it has definitely helped my poultry out too, and there are hardly any roamers now because everyone knows the redneck up the street will put a bullet in it.

I'm thinking of going redneck sometime, thanks...
