We store our chicken feed and treats in metal bins in a shed to keep out mice etc. The trouble with that of course is that in order to spoil the ladies, one always has to wander over to the shed first - too much of a hassle.
The mailbox solution has worked like a charm! It looks cute and keeps the treats safe from vermin but always ready to go.
