Hi,
I ended up realizing she had cocci and treated for that first. Then I picked up a poultry vitamin heavy in iron (see previous post) and she did great and gave to her after
Treat ment of cocci. My girls did not have mite infestation on them but I did find mites on the coop. So I bleached the heck out of the coop then I dusted the girls and sprayed the coop with a permithian spray for mites. I sprayed for at least 5 times in a three week period to make sue I got them all. Now I just spray every two weeks with my deep clean as a prevention.
I got the book "chicken health for dummies. ". And it has been very helpful. Don't use a non-stick pan when you cook the liver as that gives off a gas into the food that is toxic to chicken.
