treating lice on hens/roosting poles?

we have goats and i've just finished giving them their lice treatment - Permectrin CDS. does anyone know if this pour-on insecticide would be o.k. to use and spray on my roosting poles? what do you use to keep lice/parasites at bay (besides Diatomaceous earth sprinkled in their nesting boxes)?

The link above shows what I use - liquid permethrin diluted as per label to spray the coop (can spray the birds too if diluted correctly). I am not sure what permectrin cds is.

I use permethrin poultry dust powder to dust for mites. I repeat at 7 days (lice need another treatment at 14 days too). Prozap brand is what I use.
