I have 25 three week old meat birds. I believe they have coccidiosis. They have a 5 gallon waterer. I treated the whole waterer. Do I just allow them to have it for a day or do I allow them to drink the entire waterer?

You keep it available for a certain number of days.I have 25 three week old meat birds. I believe they have coccidiosis. They have a 5 gallon waterer. I treated the whole waterer. Do I just allow them to have it for a day or do I allow them to drink the entire waterer?
Then I would guess it's corid (amprolium), and I would guess about a week, but @azygous probably knows much more than I do about this.It was given to me by a breeder. I was told 1/2 tsp. for one gallon of water but she didn't tell me how long to treat them for.
Thank you, I just added more to the water after reading @castportpony article. That dilution will not treat anything.
Do you have a container that holds a gallon of water that the chickens are able to drink from? And do you have the liquid form of Corid?
Mix two teaspoons of Corid liquid into one gallon of fresh water. Give as the only water source for five days. Give them a one week rest, and do another round of Corid for five days to get any hatching oocytes. Mix fresh each day.
Or 4t to two gallons, 6t to three gallons, etc. whatever they would normally drink for the day. Just had to add that because the above could be misread as you should only give them one gallon as their water source.Mix two teaspoons of Corid liquid into one gallon of fresh water. Give as the only water source for five days.
