Treats for chickens

I remember throwing grapes at my roosters and watching them swallow them whole. My wife and I looked at eachother thinking "Did we just kill him?" So naturally, after he did not suffocate moments later, we threw more grapes. I think they crush them in their crop with little problem. It is one of the funniest sights I recall seeing here.

My babies LOVE bread. I buy the whole grain bread in either double protein or 15 grain. When I go out with treats I make a kissing noise at them. It didn't take long for them to associate that noise with treats. Now when I do that or they see me with bread, they will run up to me and some will even fly into my arms and try to take the bread from me. They also like fresh cooked mash potatoes.

Mine get, in moderate proportions based on supply:

tomatoes - no vines or tops!! toxic to them.
carrots
broccoli
peas
corn
bread
popcorn
bagels
stale crackers
pasta
rice
strawberries
grapes
bananas
leftover meatloaf
spaghetti
ham (not much...too much salt)
cooked oatmeal
cooked malt-o-meal
eggs I drop
dandelion greens
clover
baked potatoes
mashed potatoes
peaches
plums
cheese
cottage cheese
lasagna
dried, ground egg shells
zucchini
cucumber
cabbage - hang it from a string after spiking it with a long bolt and watch them go at it!
blueberries
cranberries
sour milk
buttermilk
diced cooked chicken
cooked burger

And a few more things.

They say to avoid avocado, onions, and potatoes with green eyes or peels as well as the tops or vines of tomatoes.

We are just learning with the chicken treats....but my girls LOVE, oatmeal (cooked) they go crazy over it! I almost have to spoon feed the polish ones or they have so much of it in the feathers on their heads that the other chicks then think they are a walking treat.
They love bread, and I will probably get in trouble for buying bread just for the chickens LOL.
The last few nights they have had left over green beans and brussel sprouts.
And not intended...but i saw a chicken eat a feather today? whats up with that?
Can they really swallow grapes hole? Is that safe?

How do they get the nutrition from a sunflower seed in the shell?

I'm just curious. I know they love 'em.

Question:

Will the grapes start to block the CROP ...
aren't the grapes too large?
Do they digest / break up easily enough?

I was afraid to give my girls grapes because of these questions.
