treats for chicks

I gave my chicks some sweet corn bread. It was so funny watching tham play keep away. But they gobbled up every bite.

ours got some crickets last night 3.5 weeks old ish).

talk about an epic game of keep-a-way!

I give my chicks well washed dry sand-or you can buy grit. I put in in the cage after they learn to eat their proper food well-usually in two or three days.

Mine have now sampled boiled egg, yogurt and a few mealworms. I do have chick grit in there and I've seen them peck at it. They are doing very well!
