Treats for ducklings

Today my ducklings are 1 week old.
They are very hungry! Is there anything else I can give them besides their duck starter?

I will bring weeds and other handfuls of grass to my ducklings as they grow. Any bits of grass I rip up in my hands so they are very small pieces and sprinkle it into their brooder. They do like the green stuff

i don't have access to grass right now because its buried under 5 feet of snow LOL! What about shredded lettuce cut up really small?

Their starter is the most important food for them, but I did give mine a small handful of mealworms daily I bought a treat ball [TSC} and you put the mealworms into it and they rolled it around and the mealworms would drop out they loved that ball. Any time we offer anything other than their starter they will need chick grit to help grind it up once eaten. Just a small bowl close to their feed they will use it as needed.
