Was wondering if ducks can have treats? Food scraps? I don't want to give them anything that will hurt or worse kill
Them:(
Do they have any favorites? Hot weather treats like cold watermelon ok?

Hi, my ducks love grains, such as rice or beans, and they also LOVE cheerios. Yeah, cheerios. Actually, all our animals love cheerios.
I imagine they'd love melons. I don't think it would hurt them as long as you aren't overdoing it.

My ducks love mashed up honeydew and love Cheerios(if I don't buy them the name brand Cheerios they won't eat it... I've tried) they also like frogs and little fish (if you can find them). My ducks also love lettuce (pulled it bite size pieces. I also heard that ducks like to eat cat food, so you could try that too. Just make sure there is water for them to wash down their treats.

Peas. My ducks go crazy for peas. I buy a giant bag at costco of the frozen peas and then I just defrost them in warm water for a few minutes. If my ducks see me with peas it's like a stampede to get to me.

I've also fed them the cuttings off of fruits and veggies like strawberry tops, carrots peelings, salad trimmings, tomato trimmings, cucumber peelings, apple peels, any fruit pealings or bits and the ends of of my green beans (they will eat the whole green bean too).

Any fresh food scraps they will eat but I don't let them get into the processed food and scraps. They don't need bread or pasta.

Wobbles loves watermelon, cantaloupe, peas and cheerios. He will do ANYTHING for cheerios!

Thank you so much everyone! Fish? What types? Out is a pond or those little feeder fish at pet store for like 50 cents? I would love to put some fish in their pond:)
