It's funny--we only have a couple of chickens who are interested in worms at all; the rest come running if I throw one to them because they know if I threw it, it must be food, then skid to a halt with a total, "WTH is THAT?!" look on their faces when they see the worm writhing around on the ground.
They will eat grubs more readily, I think 'cause they don't wiggle.
