Can I give my 8 week old chicks strawberries for a treat?

I would think so, as long as they have grit available. I'm going to give mine a banana this afternoon.

I'm a new chick mom but mine are 4 weeks old and I fix them scrambled eggs or oatmeal for breakfast every a.m. I also put a small amount of chick grit in their pen, not sure if I need to do this yet but since I'm giving treats I thought I better.
