Ralph I hope she'll be ok. Poor girl. Which breed is she?

Finnie, glad the inspector generals were supervising your DH.

I have to whine....didn't get above freezing today. Just miserable day. I know...most of you didn't get out of single digits....but our humidity is so high it just gets in your bones. R2elk...back me up on that!

Trying to put the finishing touches on Christmas. Will head north on Thursday for festivities with the family. Sure hope the weather behaves.

Trust me, a big fat tom is first on the girls Christmas list! I tried to talk my sister into letting Daisy be part of her Thanksgiving decorations, but it was a no go. I could load them up & take them with me....got a great dog yard at my house in Ste. Genevieve. Not sure what I would do with them at night. Guess I could crate them. Wish they could come, I fret when I have to leave them. My sitter is great, but she doesn't spend the time I do with them. They just need to get over it.

Ralph, speaking of house birds....do you still have that cockatial you found?

17 again this morning. I know, nothing compared to most of you. The point is that its going to be close to 70 on Christmas day. Our weird weather continues.

My chickens don't seem to enjoy the cold. But my turkeys apparently love it! They've both been silly. Hopping & twirling. Either they're thinking about starting to lay, or Santa coming. They've been so playful. Funny birds!

I don't know. I've never had to deal with it. I would keep posting questions over on the Emergency thread. How old is she? How long have your turkeys been living with the chickens? Maybe be a stupid thought, but are you sure she wasn't just "squatting "? Mine are starting too, off & on. Also, they have a habit of taking naps in the sun. May be completely off base. So keep posting on the emergency thread.

Hope she is better, but sometimes they will look better then they relapse. Get a baseline weight one her, then weigh daily. If she's sick she will lose weight. You also haven't said anything about her poop... Please post some pictures of her regular poop and her cecal poop.

I KNEW you'd want poop pics! Stephcraig...waiting for poop pics!!
