Bantambird....I'm not driving. Just flying to Missoula for a project on their airport ramp. I thought I see if you were close. Never been to Montana. Anyone near Tampa FL or Queens NY? Those are my other projects right now. Blahhh...
Of course Ralphie actually came through Memphis & didn't even call. And then there is Holm who didn't meet me in Grand Forks with Mr. T....I told him I could register him as a therapy turkey & he could fly home with me to visit my cute & single girls.

It's RAINING!! We've been under drought conditions, so this is huge! And thankfully it's 42 out and this isn't an ice storm. We are supposed to get an inch...or so. Someone explain to me why I knock myself out making sure my six strategically placed waterers have clean fresh water at all times....and as soon as it rains everything with feathers is sucking down muddy water from puddles?

Two days of rain. Not complaining. We sure needed it. Luckily it's been close to 60 so it's not ice. The turkey walk tonight was a slog. But I let my little SS join us for the first time. They are too cute. They stayed right with their turkey moms. And their turkey moms kept a sharp eye on them showing them all the good bits of green. Little guys had quite the time exploring. I do get a kick out of the relationship between the little SS and the turkey moms.

Ha...it's snowing on the BYC banner. Cool!
We are getting up to 7.5 inches of rain today. What a mess! Currently 61 degrees. That's even warm for us this time of year. I'm just grateful this rain isn't snow or ice.
My neighbor was putting Christmas lights on her bushes yesterday evening. She had them lit. OMG. You should have seen the girls pecking at the bulbs as she was stringing them. They were so funny. The little Sussex were with us. Not sure what they were trying to do, but the were hopping straight up into the air and trying to grab something in the bushes. Birds were so goofy my neighbor & I just stood there laughing. Yeah, I'm sure the rest of my neighbors figure we lost it.
