Two days of rain. Not complaining. We sure needed it. Luckily it's been close to 60 so it's not ice. The turkey walk tonight was a slog. But I let my little SS join us for the first time. They are too cute. They stayed right with their turkey moms. And their turkey moms kept a sharp eye on them showing them all the good bits of green. Little guys had quite the time exploring. I do get a kick out of the relationship between the little SS and the turkey moms.
I'm with you, Ralphie - Starting Monday we are back down to mid 20's and low teens - or worse. Third set of temps since winter "started". Had one day of 50 degrees yesterday. I guess it was the last for a long while.I really like you more during the summer than I do right now, as we head for 20 below over Christmas....
The teens will seem like a heat wave here....I dislike the cold...I hate the heat...Hey PolarBerry....feed store gig sounds cool.
Your right Ralphie....it's brutal here in the summer. I worry much more about my animals in the heat vs the cold. I'm just a winter wimp. However, the bottom is dropping out starting on Christmas. Supposed to be in the teens at night. I'm already cold just thinking about it.....
Our winter storms mostly come from the northeast. Seems like ralphie likes to share his winter woes. Yesterday morning it was in the 40°s F with the wind coming from the southwest. This morning the wind is coming from the northeast with a current temperature of 10°F and dropping and 5 1/2" of snow so far.Hey PolarBerry....feed store gig sounds cool.
