Mine are only allowed in my gardens during the winter. I never let the chickens in there. They scratch up too much stuff. The turkeys will actually walk around a plant. They may take a bite...but they don't stomp it into the ground.

On our stroll yesterday I took the opportunity to do some clean up in one of the front gardens. Girls were interested at first but ended up laid out in the sun. I finally packed it up & headed down the driveway. Annie was following me but Daisy must have been half asleep. She all of a sudden realized she was alone & came running down the driveway calling to us. Of all the things my turkeys do...running just kills me. Just so funny looking!

Out front letting the girls graze. Lone jogger running down the street. Annie took off and jogged next to her until I could catch up. Then of course Daisy had to fly to meet us. Not sure what possessed her. I'm thinking it was her bright pink shoes. Grateful it was one of the neighbors who knows the girls. She thought it was funny. She thought she had a new running partner for awhile.
