@Auroradream26 ..... she can fit any bird you have! Does a wonderful job!

Took the girls for a stroll tonight. Waited until the fighting was done. They behaved themselves. Ate a ton of stuff. Annie's swelling is down but she's all scabbed up. Daisy isn't too bad. My friends sweetgrass hatched. She wants me to come see them. I can't! I do not trust myself. Maybe in a few years as my girls age....but not now. Maybe a tom will cut down on their fighting? Hmmm....may be an excuse for a third bird!

Poor Ablyn.
Hoisted each girl up on a grooming table yesterday. Wanted to check them out after their fighting. Other than head scabs, all was good. Had Annie on the table & Daisy hopped up too. Just about the time a neighbor showed up. Momentary confusion . The neighbor thought that grooming table was just for my dogs. Ha...fooled them! As we chatted, both girls laid down on the table & started preening. They are easier to groom than the dogs!

Y'all may be right! The girls may be just too busy to think about eggs. They are currently picking out their Easter bonnets. Maybe if I tell them we'll decorate their eggs for Easter they will lay some!
They may be entitled...but they can be such good girls. Daisy let a toddler maul her yesterday on our walk. She just stood there & got hugged on. Parents grinning & taking pictures the whole time while Annie rifled through the kids stroller!

Thunderstorms last night. Lots of thunder & lightning. Wasn't expecting it. So loud it even woke up the coonhound.
Feedman, heard there were tornadoes in Missouri last night. Hope your ok.
Caught my turkeys munching on my wild ginger ground cover yesterday. And my Japanese Painted fern is just coming up & found Daisy eating that. So the party is over. The girls are now regulated to the back part of the yard. Can't have them eating my gardens. Things are coming up and it's too tempting. They aren't happy. They pace the fence line & stand at the gate whining. They'll get over it.
