A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I fully understand
ComEd stole land from my grandparents for high power lines and rt 80 stole land from my parents.. I would have almost 3x as much land except for imminent domain

At least they don’t raise coyotes, Fox, skunks, mink and other predators on l80 and force you to feed them... if we are caught killing one on there land they fine you 5 grand!!!

A neighbor trapped 180 raccoons and the fine and civil penalties forced him to sell out.. he was raising chickens and selling eggs commercially (pasture organic eggs).

He had most his runs covered.. but raccoons do not respect bird netting..

This is why I live in SD, but we may have to move a few miles west one of these days to one of freedom’s few remaining refuges. The zombies are not our friends...

If I was 21 and had to do it all over.. knowing what I do now.. I would be in Alaska.. and not near a tourist town!!!

I 80 does help get rid of predators, except I have an acre on the other side that is landlocked
on the other side of the high power lines is a couple of forest preserves which supply all the predators one could never want

Ablyn is so silly! He lost a snood pulling contest, then sought a hug in my arms when he lost! He's so silly...

Can you believe that he mustered up the courage from my arms to badmouth the other tom? Then they resumed the fight in earnest after the film, and Ablyn probably lost. I wasn't going to stick around too long, but I'll give him hugs when he looses, as long as he needs them.

Poor Ablyn.
Hoisted each girl up on a grooming table yesterday. Wanted to check them out after their fighting. Other than head scabs, all was good. Had Annie on the table & Daisy hopped up too. Just about the time a neighbor showed up. Momentary confusion . The neighbor thought that grooming table was just for my dogs. Ha...fooled them! As we chatted, both girls layed down on the table & started preening. They are easier to groom than the dogs!
