I think the rain is over for now! Poor birds have been sloshing around in the mud for three days. Daisy got her beak out of joint because I wouldn't let her muddy self in my lap. Turned on the hose for her and I swear she stood there washing all the mud off her feet.

Well...my cell phones are my life lines! I have two. One is a work phone, one is a personal phone. I get emails on them, text on them, Google stuff on them, etc. Love the GPS feature when I'm traveling. I can even review construction documents on them. Taking a picture & forwarding it on to someone from a job site is priceless! I could go on....

Driving all night on a Friday to get to a Saturday stock trial is one thing....it's driving all Sunday night & having to work on Monday that's a bummer. I can't do that anymore!

Karenerwin... I am armed with one mosquito eating machine! I think she'll be busy! Always amazes me the beak to eye coordination turkeys have. She can pick off a mosquito and I barely feel it.

If everyone had a mosquito eating lapper just think of the dent we could make in the mosquito population! I can just see everyone with their lappers at outdoor events or camping trips!!

Oh Daisy is suffering from mid-life spread. Little pig weighs a ton these days! Flashpoint....I have to lock Daisy in her pen when mowing. She like to fly by my head. 6 inches away....grinning the whole time. Had to practically tackle her to keep her from running down the street to dive bomb the kid cutting his lawn. Can you just see that poor boy looking up and seeing a giant blue bird heading toward him? It's a game with her I guess. She does a fly-by....lands....turns around and does it again. The chickens just follow behind me. They love it.

Any lapper training lately??

My penciled just has to be a girl! Merely based upon the fact that she's too pretty to be a boy!! Has such a sweet face. How's that for figuring out sex at an early age? LOL! I can see R2elk rolling his eyes!

Lap training has reconvened here at poult central. They aren't thrilled when I grab them but quickly settle down. Like most turkeys....they seem to like the attention and a good snood rub. Little creatures of comfort. And we sit where the fan blows on us.
