So....Holm is home schooled. Makes sense now, wasn't sure why he was on BYC during school hours. Thought he was messing around when he shouldn't! But then again....Holm wouldn't do that!!

I'm agreeing with R2elk. We do AI with our dogs all the time. Its sort of standard practice when the two dogs live too far apart for a live mating. Holm, AI'ing turkeys is quite the resume builder. Seriously Holm, think about it. It could be a side business. You could invest in several interesting toms. Then go around inseminating folks hens so they don't have to deal with too many toms. I can just see that business card!!

Feisty...I'm rooting for the little guy!

Aurora....pictures immediately!!

Ralph and Holm....I AI dogs....you can AI a turkey. Get over it! Holm...it would look good on your vet school resume!!

Yes AKC allows AI. That's about all we do these days. Thank God the days of sending the girls into be bred is over! I never enjoyed having someone's in season dog at my house for a week or more to get bred. Was sick of always being at the airport picking up or sending off a dog. I did get to know the local undertakers. Amazing how many bodies are in the cargo hold.

Ron...hope the boys will get better soon. And Feisty speaks from experience. Turkules is rather accident prone! LOL! And she was thinking about giving him a swing to play on! I still have visions of him in a body cast.

Ralph....really? Ethel loves you. She didn't order the Creamette hit on you! Those Creamettes have probably been plotting this for awhile. They finally figured out your an egg theif! I'm suspect of any group of chickens that avoid human contact! They are just up to no good. That said, even with their combined brain power I doubt they'd be capable of the planning required. That said, the fact that you upset Ethel may have prompted her go help the Creamettes organize and develop the attack plan. You cannot afford to upset Ethel again. The Creamettes are now her minions!
