I just remember Aurora talking about Adam bleeding her hens well before she saw any eggs. That combined with how long a hen stays fertile after a breeding....you may want separate them before Penguin sneaks in under the radar. I got a kick out of Ethel. She's found a snug place to hang out. I can't fool my turkeys, they seem to know when I'm trying to fake them out. Twerps!

Aurora! So excited the turkey eggs are doing so well! Can't wait to see the babies!

My girls are so fun! The longer they are here the funnier they get. Had my 11 year old aussie out loose with us this morning. Put the old guy on a down stay. Daisy is not comfortable around loose dogs. Annie, however, keeps pulling his hair. Poor old guy. She slowly approaches him. When she figures out he isn't getting up here she grabs a hunk of hair & tugs.

And Daisy is getting bossy. When she wants to hop in my lap, she starts bugging me till I sit down somewhere.

This is Annie. Mid-molt showing the difference between her older faded feathers & her new darker feathers.
