Feisty! They are darling! My mom had cockatiels for awhile. Rather noisy. She also had some kind of small parrot when we were kids. It never left her shoulder. She would go outside to garden & that bird would just stay on her shoulder. She would forget it was on her & head to the grocery store. She'd just perch him on the steering wheel & go do her shopping. Not sure what type he was. BUT IT HATED US KIDS! Really hated us!

Ralph...been thinking about your turkey tuck-in technic. When I go out to see the girls they get all excited & run around twirling & flapping. After a bit of being silly they calm down & hang out with me and start their bedtime preening. They follow me to the coop & get a small treat. Why don't you go out about an hour prior to bedtime & hang out with them a bit. Just sit in a chair & socialize a bit. Turn Snitch into a lapper to keep you cozy!
