OMG R2elk!! That's the best pic! Did she hatch them herself? That's why I don't have a tom. I'd already have those babies named & in lapper training. I'd be up to my eyeballs in lappers!!

Broody Bunch Baby is sure an interesting color/ pattern.

Heat indexes still over 100 here. Not one bird in my flock....chicken or turkey....currently has any tail feathers. They are all a mess. Annie decided to display and she looked like a porcupine! Nothing but quills. Daisy still sits on my chair arm, but no touching allowed. They are all miserable.

Do any of you feed extra protein while they are growing out new feathers? If so...what?
