Funny how my turkeys have different habits. As soon as it gets light enough, Daisy hops off the roost & spends a good 10 minutes eating breakfast. Annie stays on the roost & prefers brunch. They are so different.

Rather chilly here. But going to get very cold this weekend. And there is a chance of snow. Not much. Hope it holds off till the weekend when I don't have to go anywhere.

Been holding off mentioning this....but my daffodils are out of the ground & forming buds. Nothing more cheerful than a blooming daffodil after a long winter.

Yep Cindy....weather and R2elks gold nugget blooms are about the only thing going on right now.

EXCEPT...for the bug eyed babies hatched recently. And no pics lately!! Soon we will be playing "What's the Variety ". Which is much more entertaining.

Amazing how many winter weeds my front yard can grow. I don't treat with chemicals. Or try to get rid of them because of the girls. They sure enjoy grazing on them. My back yard is complete shade, the front mostly sun. So the weeds are quite different.

We are getting rain. Luckily it will move out before the cold front arrives. I hope. I just cant get out as much as I want in the cold rain. Frustrating.
Of course I'll be complaining about the heat this summer too. I need to get over myself!
This time of year my girls are allowed into my yard. That's fun having them hanging out. Although they tend to hang out on the back porch waiting for me. Yelping & pooping.
