Aurora...you could pay your DS per tail!! He may trap other predators too! He could research best baits for certain animals.

R2elk...they are rats! Maybe the Barred owls I've been hearing will eat their share!!

Just got home. Beautiful sunny day. Girls enjoying dust baths. They don't bother to come & greet me whilst bathing. Best I get is a few mumbles. Guess they have their priorities!

SFGWife...nice to hear from you! And back with turkey porn at that! LOL!

R2elk...you cracked me up! Your poor tom!

Aurora...so Mister is on nanny duty?

Molpet....hope your tom makes it through the night. My girls usually put themselves to bed if I'm late. If they don't make it to the coop, they end up on my back porch rail. If they ended up in a tree I'd be to freaked to sleep.

Ketojenn....beautiful eggs!

Ralphie, how sweet! Judy has taken up lapper training! Today I was grateful for a cozy lapper. Temperatures dropping like a rock and windy. Did spend time sitting with the girls. Daisy had to hop in my lap. I keep my hands warm under her wings. A lapper is just the thing in brisk weather!! Then the rain came. Needless to say they didn't get a walk this evening.

They look great Aurora!! The variations in color is interesting! They are all so pretty. Seems you have several with lapper potential! But your birds always seem to be sweeties. Are you hatching any tri mottled this year?

Never got out of the 40's today. Frost warning the last two nights. It will be 80 by this weekend. This is getting ridiculous! I was gifted a few baby lady ferns, had to bring them inside. They are barely up and quite tender. They were propagated in a greenhouse. The coonhound could not understand the ferns on the kitchen counter. He's so odd sometimes.
