Tribute to my Mom

Those are great photos. You are in a lot of anguish right now, but be thankful that you had this much time together and that you had such a wonderful mom. You have many memories to cherish. Prayers for your mom, you and your family.

I hope for a peaceful passing filled with love for your Mom and your family.

This was read at a funeral of someone I knew recently. I hope for this for your Mom as well

I am standing upon that foreshore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails in the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!"
"Gone where?"
"Gone from my sight, that's all."
She is just as large in mast and spar and hull as ever she was when she left my side; just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of her destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at that moment when someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

My prayers are with you and your mom and family. It's really hard to lose a parent, especially if you're close to them. Those are really nice pictures of her and your chickens. My dad went on to Heaven 16 years ago and I still miss him daily.

Bless you for posting those pics. Look how happy she is! Thats what you want to hang onto. I lost both of my parents in an accident when I was 30. It does take a long time to heal your heart and you never forget. But it does get easier with time. Not a day goes by that I dont think of them both. Now if you will excuse me I need a tissue! Seriously, my thought and prayers are with you, your Mom and the family. Keep us posted and take care.

You and your family are in my prayers. I pray your mom passes peacefully. Doing hospice at home is a wonderfull way to let a loved one pass on to our Father. We had my grandfather in at home hospice. I wouldnt change it for anything. Your mom is such a loveing soul....and thanks for posting the pics.

Many blessings to your mom and your family at a difficult time. Thanks for posting the pics and sharing what you are going through with us.

I'm saying a prayer for you all...and I think I'll go call MY mom and tell her how much I appreciate her!

Hugs to you
Susan

Your post brought tears to my eyes....reminded me of four years ago when my own mom passed.

Just keep reminding her that it's ok to go and that you will be fine......of course you will miss her but you will be fine. Also tell her to not be fearful......there is nothing to fear. That's the one thing i i wish i had reminded my own mom when i found out she had told her hospice nurse she was scared.

Your family is in my prayers!!!!!

Your Mom looks like such a loving wonderful person. I am sorry for your loss - hold on to the good times you have had with her and know that one day you can be together again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
