tricide neo--after the soak, rinse? or not?

ok--i have read hundreds of posts now on bumblefoot and have procured the tricide neo. i know that the instructions are 22g/gallon of distilled water only, but that to save $$ i can mix up 1/4 of those proportions for 5 day long usage. i have read to wear goggles and to not get it on me, to soak for 5-7minutes twice daily, but, i am confused about something; if it is so yukky that i shouldn't get it on myself, am i supposed to rinse it off after soaking her feet? i mean, after soaking with epsom the past few days and putting on ointments and wraps, she's been messing with things a wee bit with her beak and i'm kind of afraid of her ingesting even small amounts!!

as i said, i have read so many of the posts, though admittedly, it was mostly a long stretch into the wee hours of the morning and my retention might not be awesome when sleep deprived!

I did not rinse after soaking in the tricide neo solution. I wrapped the foot in gauze and taped it with the silk/surgical tape - the kind that never comes off. Rather than soaking her twice a day, I just poured the solution onto the gauze and made sure it was soaked through twice a day. Yes, the gauze got dirty on the bottom, but it kept the tricide neo in contact with her skin. Good luck with your chick and
