Thought I would post this were Spring is starting and many critters come out for an easy picking meal.
Hot Chili Pepper Flakes...
Chickens can't taste it but boy can others! Stopped a chipmunk from stealing the feed a while ago.
Only issue I had was my Feed Biller digging around looking for the Red ones
, in FF and dry crumbles. Had to put a Deeper lip on the PVC feeder to stop that.
They also seem to like to hunt for the flakes too. I had a small hole in my hand when I grabbed a bunch inside the house and walked from the free range area to the coop. I couldn't for my life figure out why they were not following like always .
