Trimming nails...

Am I supposed to trim chicks nails? Some are curving around. What kind of clippers to use?

Until your birds actually get a chance to get on the ground and scratch/file their nails it wouldnt hurt especially if they start to look out of wack. I use a small pair of side snips, allows you to get the entire nail and will work in the future for when the birds get bigger. Just keep in mind not to cut them too short.

Not that I've raised that many chicks, but I've never noticed anything like that before.
