Triple yolk...SMH

Candled and photo'ed an egg pic, I decided not to put it up because someone would say "That is a death ring not a vein." Well I know 100% it is a vein because the embryo is doing the chicken dance behind it, which I cannot show because it is a still pic. It seemed to know I was looking. I will take another pic later in the day perhaps. The one yolk that looked like it was not doing anything, looks to be fading a bit. Hopefully it is just getting absorbed.

Yay! I would love to see pics, and I don’t know a death ring from an embryo.

you can see the heart shape shadow at the top of this egg are the 2 yolks. The 3rd yolk is to the back side and down low.

I candled today the egg is still alive, but it is close to the 10th day, and it is looking like it may be fading. If it passes, I will do an egg topsy. The other eggs are doing well. I did lose one of my other eggs, I opened it and got an idea of how big the triple egg chicks are...

Thanks, I am holding my breath for the triple.

The egg I lost was one from my own coop, I just put down my rooster, an AC mix because he crowed too much. Now i just have health food store eggs and one hopefully from that rooster. Depending on what eggs I get today I may put some in a diff incubator, since I really wanted that rooster's babies, just didn't want him over the winter.
