Okay, so my hen that ate rubber is still very weak. Not eating and drinking on her own. I'm very careful when I feed her via syringe. Her crop has been filling up with gas/air and every time I go to massage it, the gas comes out and causes her to breath odd through her neck. This morning, I saw some stuff coming out of her nose and helped pull it out. It was clear and stringy. After that, she stopped breathing through her neck. Her gizzard is still full and only passing little bits of green droppings every other hour. What do you think could be going on causing her breathing to be this way?

I'm unable to get sound on the video in your other thread, not sure why, so can't hear it. I suspect that she is either aspirating or she is gurgling from the stuff coming back up. Have you tried the flush suggested in your earlier thread? If so, any results at all? If you stay on the same thread, then those participating should get alerts from new posts (I haven't been getting any), which helps in keeping up. When you start a new thread, it's like starting over from scratch.

Thank you for the reply!
There is no sound to the video, I had to much background talking. Her breathing sounds like someone breathing hard. No gurgling. Yes, I've done the flush, her droppings are a little more solid with bright green and white but still not digesting anything I give her. I gave her some coconut oil yesterday morning, and this morning it still hadn't gone down 😢

I am sorry CC but I have absolutely no idea.
Is it possible that she aspirated something?
Thank you friend! I have no idea, seems like once I get the stuff out of her nose, it takes care of the problem for a little while😐

I have to do something fast bc I have to go out of town I think Saturday. Maybe putting her down is better? Idk how to do it though.

Not sure I asked before, how old is she? Do you know when she last laid? Does her abdomen feel normal, or does it feel bloated (below the vent between the legs? You can do the flush more than once, if you haven't already. Just be sure to hydrate in between and after. If you give just fluids, does the crop go down? Are you still getting solids out of the crop, or can you feel any still in there?
