We did get them some scratch grain and they wouldn't eat it. Is this what your talking about? Or should I just get duck pellets?WOW I will try to find some feed with niacin in it then. Thank you!

Yes, We did feed them the duckling flock raiser crumbles food. Now they are almost 5 months. I just figured they got what they needed in the water. I am getting them some on my way home.No problem! Do you have a local tractor supply, a CHS, WHS or something like that? I would suggest Purina Duck pellets, unless, who old are they? For ducklings, 10 weeks and under, feed them purina flock raiser crumbles. Purina is the #1 suggested brand on here, and the perfect diet!
Thank you I hope this helps herGetting it now!You need to get them that feed ASAP!
No, scratch is not a full ducks diet, it is a treat. It should not be fed as a feed. You need duck pellets. Purina is best.We did get them some scratch grain and they wouldn't eat it. Is this what your talking about? Or should I just get duck pellets?
Awesome! This should make a big difference hopefully! Good job!Getting it now!
We have checked all over. Her poop looks like algae and duck poop. She keeps drinking and drinking. she is inside in a warm water tub. Her chest seems to be full of water. she will not eat. tried to force her and she pukes and drinks more water. She will not let us smell her breath. She puked and it smelled like pukish.Pictures of poop, how does her breath smell? Have you checked her body all over for anything out of ordinary?
Hard to tell what exactly is going on, but she needs to be brought inside, and set in a dimly lit area, that's warm, with feed and water provided. Keep her on towels, so you can better understand how her poops are looking. When she does poop, post a picture. You can try to keep her hydrated by dripping sugar water or an electrolyte like Gatorade along her bill.
If you could post a video of her, or a few pictures, that might be helpful.
she is free range. she eats all the bugs and tadpoles she could want all day out of the water then gets corntheir diet is corn? that would explain it, they need duck feed and i give mine daily veggies and bugs as well to keep them strong and healthy
She refuses to eat it. We have brought her in to warm her. she will not stop drinking. should we take the water away?Awesome! This should make a big difference hopefully! Good job!
