Trouble peeling boiled eggs!

Quote:
I learned this on accident. When I dropped my egg in in the water one time It made one of those hairline cracks and then peeled perfectly! I have been doing it that way ever since

I finally found something that works. It was in "Mary Jane's Farm" magazine.

You use a veggie steamer rack in a pot of boiling water. Bring the water to a boil and place the eggs in the steaming rack. Steam for 20 minutes. Make sure there is enough water so that it doesn't dry up before you are through.

Remove the eggs from the steaming rack and drop immediately into a bowl of ice water. Allow them to cool down in the ice water.

TA DA! It works great. My DH is so excited that he gets fresh eggs instead of store bought.
