He's an English Shepherd, it's not a very well known breed.

I love English Shepherds! The place we got our chickens from has English shepherds! One looked just like yours. They are such great dogs! I played fetch with them, soooo fun!

Yeah. Oh well was bound to happen sooner or later. I don't know. (for a guy working with crests I sure don't know a lot of things Actually I used to know but I haven't used that knowledge in awhile so it's slipped)

A good dog is forever training~ Some famous guy who I totally forget his name.
That's even more than commendable- almost 4 whole years of pure tenacity and determination in both you and him!

Yes indeed. With him you had to wear out both his physical and mental energy, you could wear him out physically but if you didn't do trying he'd still go nuts. He's calmed down a lot since he hit two. We used to walk him about 4 or 5 miles a day.

I bet. Who did the walking- you exclusively?

No, we all took turns, me, my sister, my brothers. All of us. Plus it was a two person job since we also had Rex. That was back when we were traveling in a 35' motor home and they had no way to use pent energy. Now we're back home they have more than enough space to run.

I'm going out with my spotlight right now to see. Though we have all the fence completely electrified now, I still don't trust those things...

I wouldn't either if they were that close, luckily none ever come around here because of Bob. Neither do hawks. , haven't had a problem with them since Bob chased one of a hen when he was around 7 or 8 months old, that hen would've been a goner too if it hadn't been for him, she walked away with just a few scratches and some missing feathers. Bob had the hawk off her before any one knew what was happening.
