We sell most of them once they are butchered. We have partnered with a local farm that sells beef and we sell pork and poultry. So we are selling most of these. Three chicken pens of broilers, and we need another one ASAP. Mine are usually calm, I've been raising them for 3 years, but not this batch...
It is fun, but my mom is kinda burned out, after this last batch is done, we might take a nice break until spring....Yep, we get them from Freedom Ranger hatchery in Pennsylvania. They are great, out of three years only one DOA ever, and with the oldest batch we have right now, we lost about a dozen as chicks, and when my mom told them, they sent 28 extra chicks. One died last night though.
